Data archive: South Australian Atlases

Published from 2003 to 2010

The South Australian (SA) data archive is presented in three sections, as follows:

  • Social Health Atlases of South Australia (either online releases or hard copy atlases);
  • Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Social Health Atlases of South Australia (online releases); and
  • South Australian topic-specific atlases (hard copies),

The data within each section is organised by release date, from the latest archived data through to the earliest, and specifies the relevant statistical geography and ABS Australian Standard Geographical Classification (ASGC) that the data were based on.

PHIDU holds the previously released interactive maps for all of the data presented in this data archive section. Note: Rates presented in these SA-specific atlases may differ from the SA data produced as part of the national atlases, as the indirectly age-standardised rates were produced using the SA relevant population/totals as the standard; rather than the Australian population standard/totals.
