Data archive: Social Health Atlases of Australia

The Social Health Atlases of Australia in this section present the earlier release data in spreadsheets (xls or xlsx) by Statistical Local Area (SLA), Local Government Area (LGA), Medicare Local (ML), Local Hospital Network (LHN), Population Health Area (PHA) or Primary Health Network (PHN) for the whole of Australia, where available; and based on either the ABS Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) or Australian Standard Geographical Classification (ASGC), as specified.

PHIDU holds the previously released interactive maps for all of the data presented in this Data archive section. Earlier release data and graphs based on either Quintiles of Socioeconomic Disadvantage of Area or Remoteness Areas, as well as data for the former Divisions of General Practice, can also be provided.

The data are organised by release date, from the latest archived data through to the earliest (and with each data file (xls) comprising several releases which occurred within the particular period of approximately a year to 18 months). Note that some indicators (e.g., particularly those based on Census data) may be duplicated within the earlier releases, as all the latest available indicators as at the release date are included in order to present a full set of indicators.
